Veronica Cruz-Martinez, LMFT- She/Her/Hers
Founder and Therapist

Veronica Cruz-Martinez, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in New Jersey, Oregon, and California, currently residing in New Jersey. She is a cisgender gay woman with strong Mexican roots. She earned her BA in Psychology from The University of Phoenix and her MA in Counseling Psychology from The Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and more than a decade providing therapy, Veronica has worked with a variety of organizations including The Hanna Boys Center (Sonoma, CA), Alum Rock Counseling Center (San Jose, CA), NJCU (Jersey City, NJ), and St. Joseph’s Medical Center (Paterson, NJ).

Her experience spans culturally diverse populations across youth, adults, families, and older adults, and she is especially dedicated to supporting LGBTQIA+ clients, indigenous communities, Mexican and marginalized populations, and individuals of diverse abilities. Veronica’s approach is grounded in trauma-informed care, offering a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. She works collaboratively with clients ready to be challenged, explore new possibilities, and actively engage in their healing process.

Veronica incorporates integrative, holistic approaches, including mindfulness, evidence-based therapy modalities, and alternative healing practices such as crystal work, essential oils, and Shamanic Healing. She is open to exploring spirituality and works closely with spiritual healers when appropriate, ensuring clients have access to a full spectrum of support. Her mission is to guide clients in healing on a mind, body, and soul level, helping them move from pain to possibility. Her guiding motto: “From Hurt to Hope.”
